: How To Get On Warped Tour: Feature #6 Victoria Morse
Scoring a job on Warped Tour is a journey. As you delve into your search for Warped Tour 2012 know that this tour might not be the first thing you do in the industry and that’s okay. If your motivation doesn’t waiver and you are a hard worker, Warped Tour can be in your future even if it’s not one…
Heading in to my third official year on Warped Tour, it is interesting to look back on where I started and where my peers started. The people I interned alongside with are now the people I tour alongside with. They’re the people that are innovating in their own unique ways to better serve the people around them. That inspires me every day.
Last spring, Nat from We Are The Kids asked me to write a piece about how to get on Warped Tour and how I got involved. While this article is just about one tour and one way to get on it, the story can apply to anyone and any goal. Conan O’Brien was right when he said, “If you work really hard, and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.” Experience is important but not as important as having a positive attitude and a sense of resilience. Anything is possible when you want it badly enough and will work hard to get it!
